“Nunc Coepi — The Life of Venerable Bruno Lanteri” is a new film documentary on the life of a remarkable man.  Shot on location in Italy, “Nunc Coepi” (pronounced “Noonk CHAY-pee”) follows Venerable Bruno Lanteri from his humble beginnings in Cuneo, through his active priestly ministry in Turin, through his exile at the hands of a fierce tyrant, to his founding the religious congregation known as the Oblates of the Virgin Mary.  At the heart of the film is Lanteri’s assertion that we should never give into spiritual discouragement.   Quoting a letter from Lanteri, Fr. Timothy Gallagher, OMV, says in the film “Begin again not only every day, but every hour of every day, and, in his own writing says if I should fall even a thousand times a day, a thousand times a day I will, with peace in my heart, turn to God, ask his forgiveness, and begin again.” The Original Score was composed by the talented Jandro Cisneros
